Scotland
Scotland is the northernmost country in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Most of it is occupied by the Cairngorms mountain range and the Northwest Scottish Highlands, with narrow glacial valleys and lakes. The largest cities in the country are its capital Edinburgh with the famous castle erected on top of a hill, and Glasgow is famous for its rich cultural life, as well as the famous and mysterious Loch Ness. The distinctive features of Scotland are bagpipes, plaid skirts, Scotch whiskey.
