Ingredients: Herring - 1 pc., Processed cheese - 150 gr., Dill, green olives, Borodinsky bread, tomato - 1 pc.
Preparation: Peel and file herring. Spread both fillets overlapping the bellies on cling film.
Cover the herring on top with a foil and lightly beat off so that the thickness of the fillet is more or less the same in all places. Grease herring fillet with cream cheese. The cheese should be at room temperature so that it is easier to spread.
Finely chop the green olives. Chop the dill. Spread them evenly over the herring. You can also use pickled cucumber and pickled bell peppers instead of olives. It will turn out bright and colorful.
Roll the herring fillets into a roll using cling film. Wrap it tightly in several layers of film and put it in the freezer for 2-3 hours.
Cut slices of herring rolls from Borodino bread into a thin glass. Dry the bread slices in the oven or in a frying pan until toasted.
Free the roll from the film and cut it 1 cm thick.
In the middle of the bread mug, "drip" the processed cheese so that the herring rolls are securely held on it. Place herring circles on the bread. Garnish with a slice of tomato and dill.
Serve the rolls chilled in the refrigerator.
