Dryanovo monastery in Bulgaria

Dryanovo Monastery is one of the oldest Bulgarian monasteries. The holy monastery was founded during the reign of Tsar Kaloyan in the XII century. During its existence, the monastery was destroyed and burned four times, but it was re-built from ashes and ruins.
The modern monastery is one of the ten most respected shrines of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church, a national historical monument.
