Jewelry by Trifari based on sketches by designer Alfred Philippe.
Thanks to the creative genius of designer Alfred Philippe, the Triphari company in the early 1930s became one of the most notable and reached the pinnacle of success.
It all started quite simply: Gustavo Trifari, whom his grandfather taught the intricacies of jewelry craft, and his uncle, in 1910 open a small production of jewelry and call it "Trifari & Trifari".
Jeweler Alfred Philippe performed a miracle by introducing new design ideas and unique techniques for processing stones and materials into the company in 1930. Philip previously worked for houses such as Cartier and Van Cleef & Arples, but the financial collapse in the country put jewelry companies in a tight economy, and costume jewelry gave a lot of scope for creativity, making his art deco products extremely popular.
Distinctive features of Philippe's work: fancy design, very delicate work even in details, use of only high quality materials, and masterly imitation of precious stones.
He was honored to perform the kit for Mamie Eisenhower, who wore it to her husband's inauguration.
In the film Evita, Madonna wore pieces from the Jewels of India series, which was specially created for this film by the designers of Trifari.
The jewelry of this company belongs to the elite of the vintage style and it is quite difficult to buy it.
