In Slavic mythology, the lord of the waters. It is considered the patron saint of fishermen who sacrifice to him: as a rule, part of the fish caught. It can take on various images: either a large fish, or driftwood, or appear in the form of an old man entangled in mud, with a large beard and green mustache. The Waterman's wrath is causing a huge storm.
