Many of us read fairy tales in childhood, and at the words "Kalinov Bridge" and "Smorodina River" we imagined a carved bridge thrown across a cute little river, the banks of which are completely covered with berry bushes - viburnum and currant. However, according to Slavic legends, the place where the legendary ferry was located was far from such an idyll. The Kalinov Bridge, whose name comes from the word "pot", was considered a link between the world of the living - Reality and the kingdom of death - Navu. The two worlds were separated by a flaming river, whose fiery streams possessed a pungent unpleasant odor, which gave it the name Currant (from the word "currant" - "stench").
Legends say that Chernobog (the lord of death, evil and madness) and Morena, the goddess of winter and death, ruled behind the Kalinov Bridge. Her possessions were gloomy scorched lands strewn with human skulls. Morena regularly made her way into the world of Reveal in order to harvest the harvest of human lives.
