In the forest, noise, crackling - Verlioka walks on one leg, in a wooden boot, props up with a crutch, grins terribly. A raven sits on one shoulder, a box hangs on the other. Children are coming towards. Verlioka yells:

- We collect mushrooms.
- I am the master of the forest! I won't let you pick mushrooms!

The fire said:
- I will not burn firewood!
The cauldron said:
- I won't heat the water!
The water said:
- I will not cook people!
Verlioka got angry. He began to trample the fire with a wooden boot, kick the boiler of water with a crutch. The crutch broke, the wooden boot caught fire. Verliok got scared of the fire and jumped into the cauldron of water. The cauldron slammed its lid down, and boiled water. Verlioka was gone.
