Apricots
Apricot is a fruit with a sweet-sour taste, a round, velvety yellow-orange fruit of the apricot tree (Plunus armeniaca, aka Armeniaca vulgaris).
The homeland of apricot is China, and Europe learned about it thanks to Armenian merchants who brought bright orange fruits to Greece. Due to the large amount of minerals, vitamins and trace elements, moderate consumption of apricots has a positive effect on the human body. The work of the cardiovascular system and digestion improves, vision and immunity are strengthened, the skin is cleansed.
Apricots are eaten raw, jam, compotes are made, dried to make dried fruits.
