Haruyo Morita
Contemporary Japanese artist Haruyo Morita was born in 1945 in Saitama Prefecture. From early childhood she studied Japanese classical drawing, and in 1960 her work was recognized as the best in a competition organized by the prefecture. Haruyo Morita studied not only painting. She worked as a kimono designer for almost ten years and developed her own style: she combined classical Japanese art and her own idea of modern Japanese painting. Fans of painting really liked the work of the artist - the mysterious and enchanting world of ancient Japanese traditions, oriental culture and romantic fantasies.
