The Belgian castle Grotbeigarden was built of red brick in the style of the Flemish Renaissance in the XII century. This castle transports visitors into a fairy tale.
A wonderful 14-hectare park stretches around it. The park was founded at the beginning of the 20th century by the architect Louis Fuchs.
About a million Dutch bulbs are brought into the park every year to create beautiful flower beds.
Basically, you can see tulips (400 varieties) in flower beds. A variety of bulbous plants are perfectly combined with tulips - hyacinths, muscari, daffodils, as well as other spring flowering plants (viola, azalea, etc.). And all this enchanting floral beauty looks great against the background of bright rhododendrons and medieval trees!
Grotbeigarden Park attracts a large number of tourists. Due to the beautiful landscapes, various video filming and photo sessions are regularly held here.
