The story of the next Great Beauty dates back to the Western Han Dynasty (c. 1st century BC)
Wang Zhao Jun is the second most beautiful.
Wang Zhao-jun - concubine of the emperor of the Western Han dynasty (206 BC - 25 AD). In the 1st century BC. during the Western Han dynasty, a fierce struggle for power was fought within the Hun tribe living in southwestern China. To maintain friendly relations with the Western Han Dynasty, Huhanse asked in 33 BC. on his third trip to Chang'an to intermarry with the Chinese emperor. Huhanse expressed his hope to marry one of the emperor's daughters. The emperor agreed, but ..... issued the highest decree:
"Any maidservant at court who wishes to marry the leader of the Huns will be awarded the title of princess."
Wang Zhaojun expressed a desire to marry the leader of the Huns, dressed in a red wedding dress, went on a white horse on a long journey to the Hun camp. Wan Zhaojun has lived her entire life among the Huns.
She not only became a distributor of Chinese culture, but also raised children, who began to promote the development of friendly relations between the Han and Huns.
