I saw the Lilac Fairy
In the asleep spring garden.
She's a purple shadow
Flashed in the bushes on the fly.
And long narrow fingers
They touched closed flowers.
Pulled on a moon hoop
Lilac fabric of petals.
She was embroidering diligently
Foggy pattern on the branches:
The lilac was like a willow
In furry eyebrow earrings.
And I remember ... she turned around
Suddenly she looked me in the eye.
And then I returned to work -
Shot up like an arrow, dragonfly!
I didn't want to interfere with the Fairy.
She left without asking about one thing:
"Did the fog inspire me with all this?"
But maybe it was not a dream ... (by Yulia Barko, poetry)
