Kirov / ex. Vyatka /
A beautiful mansion was built in 1911 for a merchant, philanthropist and owner of the Vyatka-Kama shipping company Bulychev. In a mixture of the Gothic style with the exoticism of the East, the architect Charushin created a unique structure that became an adornment of Vyatka. Bulychev built a mansion for his daughter. The building impressed with the interior, worthy of a palace, decoration, moreover, it was equipped with fashionable technical innovations of the early 20th century: water heating, shower rooms, electricity and a telephone were installed, and an elevator even functioned in the house.
Bulychev's daughter was delighted with the castle, but she could not stay in Vyatka. And after a while the merchant sold the empty mansion for a third of the cost to the city.
Currently, the building belongs to the FSB Directorate for the Kirov region
