Lenticular clouds

Lenticular or lenticular clouds are especially susceptible to be mistaken for UFOs. The process of their formation is very complicated, but they also have a number of interesting features. For example, lenticular clouds stay in the same place no matter how strong the wind is blowing. They are more often formed in mountainous areas and do not dissipate for hours, and sometimes for days.
