Flanders. Between 1618 - 1621.
Flemish still life has a pronounced originality. Its main distinguishing feature is its decorative expressiveness. Unlike the Dutch, the Flemish masters painted still lifes not for cozy interiors, but for decorating state rooms in palaces and castles or refectory monasteries.
Stored in the Hermitage.
