Magpie’s Treasure Nest, which translated from English means “precious nest of a magpie”, reaches 52 cm in height and weighs over 15 kg. The watch demonstrates a frozen scene of forty feeding their children, but instead of the usual worm, the bird has a real blue oval tanzanite weighing 104.75 carats in its beak.
The nest for the magpie was a "string" of yellow gold, around it flowers and berries were encrusted with diamonds weighing 24.95 carats, rubies 13.17 carats, as well as sapphires, calcites, onyx, agates and other precious materials. The watch itself is made of yellow gold, with blue sapphires as an indication and diamonds on the bezel. In the center of the dial there is a gold circle and hands in the form of a flower.
The starting price for the Magpie’s Treasure Nest Clock ranged from $ 400,000 to $ 640,000. However, the final price for these precious watches exceeded the starting price by at least 3.6 times.
