The Konstantino-Eleninskaya (Timofeevskaya) tower was built in 1490 by the Italian architect Pietro Antonio Solari. The first name comes from the nearby church of Saints Constantine and Helena, the second - from the 14th-century white-stone Kremlin, Timofeevskaya gates, which were located earlier on this place.
