Probably, Adar Manor is not quite a standard castle, it looks more like an estate. Nevertheless, it is a beautiful place like no other for a wedding in Ireland.
The founder of the 19th century guesthouse was unable to bear the maintenance costs and sold Adare Manor in 1984 for 2.5 million to Irish American Tom Kane. Now the estate, located on an area of 3.4 square kilometers, operates as a five-star hotel. US President Bill Clinton even stayed here in September 1998.
The Homestead was named the Best Hotel in Ireland by the World Travel Awards in 2010, 2011 and 2012.
