American Maggie Rudy writes wonderful books for children. She came up with a whole fabulous country - "MousesHouses", which is inhabited exclusively by mice. Moreover, Maggie does not stop only at writing, but she herself illustrates her characters. She makes figures of mice out of felt. These illustrations look like frames from old Soviet puppet cartoons, which only adds to their nostalgic sympathy.
