The Krasny Klyuch spring is the most powerful water source in Russia and the second largest in the world! In terms of water flow, only the Fontaine de Vaucluse spring in France is slightly ahead of it. It is not surprising that this landmark of Bashkiria has the status of a hydrological natural monument of federal significance. A powerful stream of water comes out of two huge connecting sinkholes. The depth of one funnel is 38 meters, and the second is 20 meters. In Krasny Klyuch, the waters of the Yaman-Yelgi River emerge on the surface, originating on the slope of the Karatau ridge and for the most part (more than 60 kilometers) flowing underground. Having passed through the underground layers, the water is purified by nature itself. Moreover, bottled water is produced from a well in the village of Krasny Klyuch near a spring, which is sold under the Krasny Klyuch brand. The spring water is cold. Regardless of the season, its temperature is always the same - + 5 degrees.
Near the spring flows the Ufa River, surrounded by beautiful hills. In winter, below the mouth of the Krasny Klyuch spring, Ufa does not freeze for up to 13 kilometers. Therefore, in winter you can see ducks that have not flown away to the south.
