The building of the stock exchange was built in 1912 in the "neo-Russian" style, using the stylized features of ancient Russian architecture, according to the project of the architect Alexander Vasilyevich Ivanov. The construction of the new exchange was dictated by the increased authority of the Rybinsk Exchange in the trading circles of Russia.
Gradually, the former building of the stock exchange becomes cramped and on the banks of the Volga a majestic building of a new "grain" stock exchange appears.
Today the building houses the Rybinsk State Historical, Architectural and Art Museum-Reserve.
