Ekberg Castle, with its extensive landscape park, belongs to three castles in the Loschwitz Heights of the Elbe. It was created from 1859 to 1861 for the merchant John Daniel Suchet in the style of New English Gothic.
The garden and castle with its 25-meter-high observation tower are significant testimonies to the late Dresden romance. Since 1985 the castle has been used as a hotel.
