White Mosque (Ak machet).

Complex "Ak Metchet" is located near the entrance to Bolgar, at the South Gate of the Bulgarian Museum-Reserve. The best works of world Islamic architecture served as a model for the construction of the mosque. Architecturally, the complex is the building of the mosque itself, the residence of the mufti and the madrasah, surrounding the prayer square. The square is framed by an arcade of 88 columns, with a fountain in the middle. In the future, the mosque is supposed to be surrounded by an orchard with flower beds and a lake. The height of the two minarets of the mosque is 46.5 meters, the diameter of the main dome is 10, the height of the dome inside the mosque is 17 meters. The walls of the mosque are decorated with traditional decorative elements.
