Landmark of Irkutsk.
The house was built at the end of the 19th century in the Russian Baroque style. The abundant decorative decoration of the facades, the intricate shape of the roof with turrets and figured wooden posts make this two-story wooden mansion stand out with its uniqueness. At the initiative of the French Association for the Conservation of World Monuments, the Shastins' house of merchants was included in the list of world protected heritage.
