From time immemorial, the forests of Fontainebleau, rich in game, were the favorite hunting ground of the kings of the Franks. King Louis VII the Young in 1137 was the first ruler to turn the hunting mansion into his country residence. The Palace of Fontainebleau became a real center of the Renaissance in Northern Europe; many excellent masters of painting, architecture and sculpture worked here, who, later, became known as the first school of Fontainebleau. Some people call this place a powerful source of energy, and say that thanks to it the French monarchs who lived here became so powerful.
Others tell amazing stories about the spirits and ghosts in the palace who helped kings in making important government decisions. Still others believe that the local nature, which has incredible beauty, had a beneficial effect on the rulers ... One way or another, the magnificent palace of Fontainebleau really has a huge energy - its walls have seen a lot in their lifetime.
Here the destinies of France and all of Europe were decided, here monarchs were born and died, in these rooms and halls the court life, full of intrigues, ups and downs, raged for centuries ...
