The country air is clean
Pale blue.
A ray is painting a new day
In the sky above me.
The sparrow is washing with dew,
And surrenders a soldier's post
Guardian ant.

Creaked with my arthritis
An old "crane".
At night he had a dream
It's like he's a ship.
Winked at the daisies in the field
Dawn on the run.
