Not far from New York, in the town of Westbury on Long Island in the USA, there are amazingly beautiful gardens - Old Westbury Gardens. The gardens are in the English style and are considered the third most beautiful gardens in the world. The estate was built in 1906 by the famous English architect George Crowley. The first owners of this amazing place were John and Margarita Phipps. In this mansion, they lived for almost 50 happy years with their four children. When the Phipps family died in the late 1950s, their children decided to open the estate for public visits, making the house something of a museum, and the garden a place for thousands of people to rest.
