Laneck castle

Lanek is located on a high hill at the confluence of the Lahn and Rhine rivers, near the town of Lahnstein in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. The outer fortifications of the castle are now in ruins, but the central part has been almost completely reconstructed, moreover, people even live here. Today, this once formidable fortress has become a kind of romantic symbol of the German Middle Ages, and the walls made of ancient stone, plastered in places, seem to have absorbed the spirit of this land.
