Dean Morrissey is an American book illustrator. He works with over 15 publishers as a freelance cover illustrator. Looking back on those days, Dean says his work as a cover illustrator has become his "art school".
Since 1991, he begins to draw illustrations for books that he himself wrote. These are the books: Ship of Dreams (1994), The Great Kettles: A Tale of Time (1997), The Song of Celestine (1998), The Christmas Ship (2000), A Christmas Carol (2000), The Moon Robber (2001) , The Winter King (2002), and The Monster Trap (2004).
