Pyotr Kuzmich Stolyarenko is a Soviet artist, as well as an Honored Artist and People's Artist of the Ukrainian SSR.
Master of Crimean painting and classic of Soviet post-impressionism.
No one, except Peter Stolyarenko, conveyed so sensually and in a special way the light and color of the Crimean nature in his landscapes and still lifes. He painted to Feodosius, from childhood visited the Aivazovsky gallery "like a temple", and later made duplicates of all the paintings of the seascape painter, which were transported with a traveling exhibition throughout the Union so as not to touch the originals.
