Andrey has a technical education and started his career as a design engineer at a hydraulic pump plant. In 1993, he ended his engineering career and devoted himself entirely to painting. A member of the Union of Folk Artists of Ukraine since 1998, he has no art education, so he considers himself a naive artist. Although he works, at first glance, in a naive way, his work is very peculiar. If you try to find a place for it in the artistic stream, then it will take an intermediate place between pure naive, amateur art, traditional folk art, urban art (art of the suburbs). to highlight the artist's work in a new direction, which does not yet have a name.
