Osborne House is a unique Italian-style palace that was erected between 1845 and 1851. Queen Victoria and her consort Albert as a seaside summer residence on the Isle of Wight. This island is called Little England or Little Miracle. The amazingly beautiful landscape has become a great place for the construction of an equally amazing palace. Osborne House is famous not only for its location, but also for the fact that it was here at the end of the eighties of the nineteenth century that Alexander Bell demonstrated the work of the telephone set to the Queen. After the death of Queen Victoria, some rooms at Osborne House were turned into a family museum. Also on the territory of this beautiful estate, a naval school was opened by the heir of Victoria - Edward VII.
