The funnel or city swallow is a bird of the swallow family; it differs from the barn swallow in a shorter, weakly forked tail, a white upper tail and a uniformly white abdominal side of the body. In addition, the legs of the common swallow are covered with white hair-like feathers. It is slightly smaller in size than a killer whale (barn swallow). Most of the craters have adapted to life in cities and large villages, where they settle on walls, cornices, under balconies and roofs of large stone buildings, only occasionally using wooden structures. Therefore, these swallows are much more common in cities than in small settlements.
