Kamsa try to kill Devaki

When Vasudeva, having married Devaki, was returning home with her in a chariot driven by her brother Kamsa, a formidable voice announced to Kamsa that Devaki's eighth son would kill him. Hearing this prediction, Kamsa immediately wanted to kill Devaki, but Vasudeva tactfully dissuaded him. Vasudeva pointed out what a shame it would be for Kamsa if he killed his younger sister, especially on her wedding day. Anyone who has a material body will inevitably die, Vasudeva Kamsa instructed. Every living creature lives for some time in one body, and then transmigrates into another body, but, unfortunately, some people mistakenly identify the body with the soul. Anyone who, being in the grip of this delusion, wants to kill someone else's body, is doomed to a hellish existence.
