Hluboká nad Vltava is considered the most romantic and most visited castle in the Czech Republic. It was founded in the middle of the XIII century. the nobleman Cech from Budejovice. Today it houses the largest collection of tapestries in the Czech Republic. The castle contains the richest collection of Dutch painting of the 16th – 17th centuries, weapons, porcelain, glass and furniture.
