Enamels of the Kings & Queens
Enamels from the series "Portraits of the Kings of England from Edward III to Queen Victoria" made between 1815 and 1834 by the artist Henry Bone (11 portraits), and then after his death in 1834, his son, the artist Henry Pierce Bone, continued the collection of paintings. In 1843, the collection was put up for auction, where it was acquired by Prince Albert (1819-1861).
