Blackbird

The blackbird is one of the most numerous bird species. In summer he prefers to settle in coniferous, mixed or (in the south) deciduous forests with good undergrowth and damp soil, forest ravines, as well as overgrown gardens and parks. Such places are inhabited by the blackbird throughout Europe and in the European part of Russia, in the Caucasus it lives in the forest belt of mountains. It is dull black, with a bright orange-yellow beak, resident and nomadic bird. The song of the bird is a sad flute whistle, and the cry is a dry crackle and chirp "tock" and "gix-gix". Early in the morning and in the evening before nightfall, he likes to play melodious tunes, similar to the playing of a flute.
