The county is located in the very southeast of England. Throughout English history, Kent was strategically important. was located between London and the English Channel. Many battles took place on its territory, so it has the largest concentration of castles in Britain. The main cultural attraction in Kent is the famous Canterbury Cathedral - the main temple of the Church of England and the seat of the Archbishop of Canterbury.
