Apple Spa is the popular name for the holiday of the Transfiguration of the Lord among the Eastern Slavs, to which numerous folk rituals were timed. According to popular beliefs, the Apple Savior means the onset of autumn and the transformation of nature. It is generally accepted that nights after August 6 (19) become much colder. Until the Savior, it is not allowed to eat apples and apple dishes. But on this day, on the contrary, it is supposed to pick and consecrate apples and other fruits of the new harvest.
