Goddess of War Durga

Durga ("hard to reach" or "invincible") is one of the most popular goddesses in Hinduism.
According to one version, she acts as the wife of Shiva in one of her formidable forms. According to some ideas, it represents a united divine power to establish balance and harmony, peace and well-being. In Hindu iconography, it is usually depicted in the form of a ten-armed woman, although sometimes the number of hands may not equal ten (for example, in the guise of a Mahadurga it has twenty arms), sitting on a Himalayan tiger or lion, holding various means of defense and attack in fingers intertwined in mudras , as well as the attributes of various gods - Shiva's trident, Vishnu's disc, Vayu's bow, Indra's vajra, etc.
