Gozo or Gozo (Gozo) is the second largest island in the Maltese archipelago (67 sq. Km), with its nominal capital - Victoria. The population of the island is about 31 thousand people. Regular transport between the islands of Malta and Gozo are modern ferries that carry both people and vehicles. The whole trip takes about 30 minutes.
Mgarr is known as the "Gateway to Gozo". Above the harbor, the dominant position is occupied by a neo-Gothic monument - the Lourdes Church, built in 1888.
