Ukhtomsky Konstantin Andreevich (? - 1879) - architect, educated at the Imperial Academy of Arts, from which he was graduated with the title of an artist of the XIV class in 1838. While still a student of the academy, he painted beautifully watercolors views of internal buildings and was awarded for two similar works , in 1838 and 1839, silver medals. At the end of the academic course, he traveled abroad, from where he brought many sketches for his subsequent watercolor works. In 1843, for the project of the house of a rich nobleman, he was recognized as an academician. In 1858, for the views of the hall in the new building of the Hermitage, he received the title of an honorary free associate of the Academy. For some time he was the keeper of the academic lyceum, replacing his father in this position. The best of his watercolors depicting views of Italian buildings are found in the albums of the imperial family.
