Blue jay

North American blue jay, crested jay, blue jay. The Blue Jay is a very beautiful bird with a long, bright blue crest. The tail is long. The beak is strong, thanks to which the jays can easily split seeds with a hard shell.
Blue jays make a wide variety of sounds: melodic whistles; sounds similar to the ringing of a bell; imitate the cries of a hawk; shout loudly, warning of the approach of a predator; the couple, communicating with each other, makes a sound similar to the operation of a rusty pump.
It lives in South America from Colombia and Venezuela to Central Peru and Bolivia. Through Central America, its range extends to Texas.
