Natalya Kirillovna (1651-1694) - the queen, daughter of the Ryazan nobleman Kirill Polievktovich Naryshkin, the second wife of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich. Married to the tsar on January 22, 1671. She was brought up in the house of the boyar Artamon Sergeevich Matveyev, who was a relative by his wife, where the tsar saw her. In 1671, nineteen years old, she got married. Five years of married life were successful. The tsar's love for his beautiful wife grew stronger, especially after the birth of Peter and two other children. After the death of Alexei Mikhailovich, an alarming time came. The young queen stood at the head of the Naryshkins 'party, which unsuccessfully fought the Miloslavskys' party. Under Fedor Alekseevich, she and her son moved to the village of Preobrazhenskoye. Under Tsarevna Sophia, who seized power after the Streletsky revolt in 1682 and was declared a ruler under Tsars John and Peter, her position became even more difficult: she was even threatened to be "expelled from the palace." The disgraced situation ended with the fall of the Sophia government in 1689. Although after that there are no signs of Natalia Kirillovna's state activities, her influence on Peter I was quite significant, as follows from the correspondence. At the insistence and instructions of Natalya Kirillovna, the first marriage of Peter I took place.
