Loire Valley Castles.
Of the entire string of castles in the Loire, only Blois has earned the name - the royal castle. And indeed it is. Blois is home to 7 kings and 10 queens. The main poisoner of the French kings, Catherine de Medici, died here, and the Duke de Guise was killed here. And the castle formed its main history from the reigns of two kings, Louis XII and Francis the First. It was these kings who made Blois what he is now.
