Strasbourg

Strasbourg is the capital of Alsace, a child of two cultures, a multi-year challenge prize between Germany and France.

Strasbourg's architecture is eclectic, as is the famous Alsatian cuisine. The quarter of German half-timbered houses is replaced by the picturesque "Petite France" - perhaps the most charming area of the city. Above the idyllic baroque and half-timbered houses, the silhouettes of watchtowers and covered bridges rise above the spire of Strasbourg Cathedral. The historic center of Strasbourg is under the protection of UNESCO.
