The Jenne Mosque is the main attraction of the city of Jenne and, perhaps, of the entire African state of Mali. The peculiarity of this mosque is that it was built entirely of clay. The first mosque appeared here in the XIII century, but in the XIX century it was destroyed. The mosque that can be seen in Jenna now was rebuilt only in 1907.
