The Parthenon in Nashville, Tennessee, USA is a faithful full-size replica of the Athenian Parthenon. It was built in 1897 for an international exhibition held in Nashville to mark the centenary of Tennessee's entry into the United States. The building is listed on the US National Register of Historic Places.
Currently, the Nashville Parthenon is the central attraction of the city's Centennial Park. The building houses a small museum of painting, in the collection of which there are 63 paintings by American artists of the 19th-20th centuries, donated by James M. Cowan
