Maedhros is the eldest son of Feanor in the legendarium of J.R.R. Tolkien, known as the Tall One. Fingon rescued him in Thangorodrim. Owned Himring Hill and the lands around it.
Maeglin (sind. Maeglin, translated from Sindarin - "keen look") - the son of Eol the Dark Elf and Aredali, daughter of Fingolfin. Lived in the First Age of Middle-earth and was an important dignitary of Gondolin.
Maeglin was the only elf who voluntarily and sane became a servant of Morgoth.
