Built at the end of the 18th century by order of King Frederick the Great, this palace is located in Sanssouci Park and is famous primarily for its theater. The premises of the palace (and here are about 400 rooms), are kept works of art, paintings by prominent artists, antique furniture. Contemporary paintings are collected in the Potsdam Gallery, which occupies several rooms.
